Sometimes it is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. But is it really that strange? There might be much more work behind a single picture than is needed to write a thousand words.

At De Mundo we have always loved taking pictures, but it is only with the digital technology that we have taken the plunge to take photographing seriously. We are shooting in DX-format with a Nikon D300, although our ambition is to eventually upgrade to a full-frame digital camera.

For us, photographing is primarily a supplement to reportage journalism, but we are also pleased to provide for other assignments, such as basic portraits, stock images and some macro. We are also interested in product photography, as it embraces so many artistic challenges such as composition, lighting and colour selection. We are also open to other suggestions, as we take on new genres and challenges with pleasure.
